Dan Hodes and Steve Sutter founded the company in December 2001 with one line and the entrepreneurial dream. We experienced all the trials and tribulations of a new company those first few years, as we worked to establish ourselves as a viable player in the industry. Keeping overhead low, our “corporate” location was the converted family room in the basement.

Our first employee, Brian, was hired in March of 2002 in conjunction with being named the Oatey SCS representative for the territory. With hard work, good customers, and a small but well respected line card our company persevered. We are truly grateful to the manufacturers that appointed our agency their representative during our first year.

In July of 2006, we moved to our new office and warehouse facility in Kansas City. Today, we stock the Josam, Liberty Pumps and HoldRite product lines in our warehouse to service the Kansas and Western Missouri territory.

On January 27, 2007, we signed an agreement to purchase JY Sales Company of Kansas City. Nick joined the outside sales team and brings many years of experience and knowledge of the plumbing industry. Monica was hired in February for inside sales and customer service. Having a background in the plumbing industry, she has a proven track record in office management.

Though we are still relatively young, our company’s business philosophy is simple. Be honest, bring value, and work hard for the companies we proudly represent.
